The Instalment Plan Entry Screen enables you to create new instalment plans for programs or edit the existing instalment plan, by clicking on the edit button. Instalment Plan Code and name are the mandatory fields and cannot be left blank, add several invoices for a program, if you wish to split the tuition amount in instalments then, click here. If you wish the instalment to be selected by default, click here.
The checkbox enables you to calculate the invoice due date automatically for the program. After that select the campus and a program you want to link to the instalment plan. If you want to see the instalment plans while creating the applications, click on the tickbox. If you click on the tickbox, the system will not show two invoices in the same month. after that Click next to proceed to the further step.

Steps to add new instalment on screen 2:
On instalment plan step 2 screen you have to add new Instalments
- By clicking + Instalment
- The system will redirect you to the Instalment Detail Screen, where you will see different fields
- Enter details in the relevant fields and click on the Save button
- You will see the instalment plan in the grid, and you can edit your instalment plan as well
- Click on Finish to create the instalment plan
Note: You are setting up an instalment plan for a student who has enrolled in a 6-month course. The total course fee is $6,000, which needs to be split into an initial deposit and two further instalments. The student also has some additional fees to cover for study materials. You want the instalments to be generated automatically on specific dates throughout the course period.
Steps to create the Instalment Plan | Explanation |
Select the Instalment Number: | First, select Instalment No. 1 from the dropdown list to define the first payment, which will be the deposit. |
Deposit Invoice: | Tick the box for the deposit invoice as this will be the initial payment the student needs to make. For example, the deposit amount could be $2,000. After ticking the checkbox tuition fee amount field becomes active where you can add the deposit amount. |
Number of Days/Weeks/Months: | Next, enter 2 weeks in the provided field. This specifies that the deposit should be paid 2 weeks before the enrolment date. In the dropdown, choose “weeks.” |
Study Period Length: | Enter the total study period length as 6 months. This helps set the timeline for subsequent instalments. |
Before/After Selection: | From the dropdown list, select Before. This indicates that the deposit invoice is to be generated before the enrolment start date. |
Enrolment Date: | Select the enrolment creation date from the dropdown list. For example, the creation date is 1st January 2025 then The system will calculate that the deposit must be paid by 18th December 2024, 2 weeks before the enrolment date. |
