In TEAMS, the Bank Account section allows users to securely access and manage the organisation’s bank account details, essential for financial operations. This section provides a centralised and secure location for entering, viewing, and updating bank account information used for payments, refunds, and billing, ensuring efficient financial management.
By maintaining accurate and current bank details, users ensure that financial transactions are processed efficiently and correctly, supporting smooth financial operations across the campus or organization.
The +Add button allows you to add or link a bank account to a campus. Clicking this button opens a popup window where you can enter the necessary details.
Fields and their Explanation:
Bank Name | The official name of the bank where the account is held. Ensure it matches the bank’s registered name. |
BSB Number | A six-digit code identifying the specific branch of the bank. Required for routing transactions in Australia. |
Account Number | The unique number assigned to the bank account. Enter it correctly to avoid transaction errors. |
Account Name | The name registered with the bank for the account. Ensure it matches exactly for the successful processing of payments. |
Default | Tick this checkbox to set the selected bank account as the primary account for the campus. This ensures it will automatically be used as the default account whenever the campus is selected. |
