The Program AVETMISS Tile lists essential fields where data must be entered to ensure accurate VET reporting. This tile helps identify and correct errors by displaying a count of issues that need attention. You can set or change the year or date range using the calendar feature to focus on a specific timeframe, making it easier to address data gaps efficiently.
Before moving further, please select the Year from the Calendar, for which you want to fix the AVETMISS errors.
| Fields | Explanation |
| Descriptive Code Missing: | Programs missing descriptive codes must match those on the training.gov.au site. Click on the total count to access the list of affected programs. Correct the issue by adding the descriptive code via the Program Entry screen. |
| Descriptive Name Missing: | Programs without descriptive names are flagged. Select the count to view a list of errors and add the required descriptive names through the Program Entry screen. |
| VET Flag Missing: | This occurs when the VET checkbox is not selected during setup. You can fix this individually or in bulk by selecting programs and updating the VET flag checkbox. |
| Nominal Hours Missing: | Missing nominal hours can be resolved by clicking the program code, accessing AVETMISS Settings from the menu, and entering the required hours. |
| Flagged VET Programs with No Linked Subjects: | It occurs in error when a program is marked as VET, but a unit of competency subjects is not linked to it. Ensure that relevant subjects are associated with the program. |
| Recognition Status Missing: | The error appears when the recognition status is not entered during program creation. To resolve it, go to the Program Entry screen and enter the recognition status. You can also fix this in bulk by selecting the checkboxes next to the programs, choosing the appropriate option from the dropdown list, and applying the changes. |
| Occupation Type Missing: | This can be corrected in bulk. Select the appropriate checkbox option from the dropdown menu and update the programs. |
| Qualification Category Missing: | It is similar to the Occupation Type, select the correct option from the dropdown and click Update. |
| Qualification Field of Education Missing: | Programs missing this field can be corrected by selecting the relevant programs, choosing the appropriate field from the dropdown, and updating the details. |
